A1 is the starting point of the Common European Framework (CEFR). Students learn to introduce themselves, ask and answer simple personal questions, and handle everyday situations like shopping, ordering food, and giving directions using short, memorised phrases.

No prior German knowledge is required for A1. For A2 and above, a short placement test confirms the right starting level. On admission, complete the enrollment process and follow the admissions team's guidance on payment arrangements.
